PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The crew of a Horizon Air flight from Long Beach, Calif., called authorities before a stopover at Portland International Airport to report an unruly child who was not following instructions to remain in a seat.

The plane was met Tuesday night by Port of Portland police who talked to the flight crew and the child’s family.

Port of Portland spokesman Steve Johnson told The Oregonian (http://is.gd/bcOWJb ) no charges resulted from the incident, but the family did not continue Tuesday night with the flight to Vancouver, British Columbia.
