Ode to Sami wins Big A feature

NEW YORK (AP) — Ode to Sami rallied from last to pull a 33-1 upset Friday in the $62,000 allowance feature for 3-year-old fillies at Aqueduct.

After lagging behind in ninth, Ode to Sami stormed home for her fourth win in 10 starts. Samuel Camacho Jr. was aboard for trainer Gary Contessa as she beat Sacred Success, the 4-5 favorite, by a half length.

The time was 1:11.39 for the six furlongs on the fast track.

Ode to Sami paid $69.50, $15.60 and $8.70. Sacred Success returned $3.20 and $2.50 while Born Bullish paid $4.50 to show.
