CARSON, Calif. (AP) — Real Madrid will play the Los Angeles Galaxy for the third straight preseason, with the Spanish league champion meeting the MLS winner Aug. 2 in an exhibition at the Home Depot Center.

Real Madrid defeated the Galaxy 3-2 on Aug. 7, 2010, before a crowd of 89,134 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, then won 4-1 last July 16 in front of 56,211 at the Los Angeles Coliseum. Under coach Jose Mourinho, Real players appeared to enjoy their time at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Real, which finishes its season Sunday at Mallorca, won the Spanish league for the first time since 2008.
