Greece basketball playoff off because of violence

ATHENS, Greece (AP) — The team bus of a top Greek basketball team was struck with rocks on the way to the playoffs, leaving two players injured. The opening game was called off.

Panathinaikos officials say Stratos Perperoglou and American Steven Smith were briefly hospitalized for cuts from broken glass.
