SEATTLE (AP) — A suspect has been jailed in last week’s shooting in the city of Shoreline that killed a 17-year-old girl and wounded an 18-year-old man.

King County Jail records show 20-year-old Joseph D. Cooley was booked early Monday on a second-degree murder charge and held on $2 million bail.

He was charged Friday in the shooting that killed 17-year-old Tiana Montgomery and wounded 18-year-old Darrold Edwards early Wednesday in an apartment parking lot.

KIRO-TV reports Edwards has improved to satisfactory condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
