TROUTDALE, Ore. (AP) — Reynolds School District students will be back in the classroom on Tuesday after teachers and administrators reached a deal to end a week-long strike.
The agreement is subject to approval by the union membership and the school board. The district said Saturday that it will release details once both sides approve it.
Salary and working conditions have been the toughest issues for negotiators. On Friday, police arrested a woman on the picket line accused of interfering with police.
The Reynolds district has 11,000 enrolled students, 10,300 of whom are affected by the strike.
