Pacific crushes Holy Names in 76-38 win

STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) — Ross Rivera scored 14 points to lead Pacific to a 76-38 win over Holy Names on Saturday night in the season opener for both teams.

Rivera was 2 of 2 from 3-point range and had seven rebounds. Tim Thomas and Travis Fulton had 10 points each. Colin Beatty also had seven rebounds for the Tigers.

Pacific led 47-17 at halftime.

Ian Collins led the Hawks with 10 points. Richard Craig, who had 6 points, was 2 of 5 from 3-point range. Tyler Fry had seven rebounds.

Holy Names was 15-16 last season. The Hawks moved to Division II this season.
