Boys basketball: Union 81, Stanwood 74

Tyler Copp scored 27 points and added five assists and four steals to lead Union to a non-league victory.

Union led 33-30 at halftime, but took control with a 10-2 run to open the second half. Stanwood worked the margin down to five points late in the fourth quarter, but the Titans buried 6 of 8 free throws to seal the win.

Jeff Wu added 14 points and Micah Paulson had 12 for Union (2-0).
