TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — The Arizona Cardinals have re-signed offensive tackle Pat McQuistan and released cornerback Crezdon Butler.
The move gives the Cardinals another option on their struggling offensive line, which has given up 22 sacks in the past two games.
The Cardinals had released McQuistan Sept. 25 after he was inactive the first three games of the season. The 6-foot-6, 317-pound lineman is in his seventh NFL season with stints in New Orleans, Miami and Dallas.
McQuistan played in 10 regular season games and both postseason contests for New Orleans last year after appearing in all 16 games, eight as a starter, for Miami in 2010.
A seventh-round draft pick of Dallas out of Weber State in 2006, he has played in 66 NFL games, eight as a starter.
