Evergreen French teacher honored with award

Evergreen High School — French teacher Andrea Maul won the 2012 Outstanding Teaching at the K-12 Level Award at the Washington Association for Language Teaching/Confederation in Oregon for Language Teaching conference, held at the Hilton Vancouver Washington on Oct. 12 and 13. “She is caring, hard-working and possesses a depth of understanding about young people and language acquisition that allows her to inspire and assist students to become lifelong learners of French,” associate principal Rashonda Waters said of Maul.
