HERSHEY, Pa. (AP) — Lisa Schlesinger of Laytonsville, Md., shot a 4-under 70 on Saturday to top the USGA Senior Women’s Amateur leaderboard during the suspended first round of stroke-play qualifying.

Ellen Port of St. Louis; Sydney Wells of Menominee, Wis.; and Diane Lang of Weston, Fla., opened with 74s on the West Course at Hershey Country Club.

Play was delayed because of rain and lightning.

The top 64 players after two rounds of qualifying will advance to match play.
