FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — TCU has extended the contract of baseball coach Jim Schlossnagle through the 2018 season.

The Horned Frogs, now in the Big 12 Conference, went to their first College World Series in 2010. They have won at least 40 games in each of the last six seasons, and been to an NCAA Super Regional each of the last three years.

Schlossnagle has a 388-175 record in nine seasons as TCU’s coach. The extension announced this week added two seasons to his current contract.

TCU won the Mountain West Conference regular-season titles in each of its seven seasons in that league.
