Business name: Integrity Tree Care Inc.

Owners: John and Kim Eisenhower.

Address: 13023 N.E. Highway 99, Suite 7.

What the business does: Integrity Tree Care Inc., is a full-service residential and commercial tree care company operated by International Society of Arboriculture certified arborists, specializing in the preservation of old growth trees as well as low-impact removal of large trees in confined spaces.

Steps to build the business:
The Eisenhowers have expanded their services to include landscape consultation and design. They also have established a forum on their website to encourage their customers to be active participants in the care and maintenance of their trees and landscapes.

Greatest challenge: Educating the public about proper pruning techniques is a challenge; more is not necessarily better, John Eisenhower reminds everyone. He and other arborists co-founded the Southwest Washington Arborist Association to meet the challenge of educating others about the importance of restoring and maintaining Clark County’s urban canopy.
