Northern Colorado dominates Colorado College 96-57

GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Anthony Johnson, with 15 points, led five players in double figures as Northern Colorado dominated Division III Colorado College 96-57 Tuesday night.

Tim Huskisson had 14 points, Derrick Barden 13, Dominique Lee 12 and Jordan Wilson contributed 11 for Northern Colorado (5-2).

The Bears hit 59.1 percent of their shots from the field, making 9 of 16 3-pointers. They also controlled the boards 46 to 22.

Colorado College (5-1) actually had a 5-4 advantage at the 16:44 mark, but the Bears took the lead when Wilson scored five straight points, making a layup, a jump shot and one free throw. Northern Colorado charged on to a 54-29 halftime lead. The Tigers could never get close again.

Ryan Milne led Colorado College, scoring 27 points. Chris Lesnansky added 15.
