DETROIT (AP) — The Detroit Lions have placed defensive end Israel Idonije on injured reserve.

Idonije had been limited by a neck injury this week. The Lions finish their season at Minnesota on Sunday.

Detroit signed cornerback Akwasi Owusu-Ansah to the active roster from the team’s practice roster.

Idonije, a 10-year veteran, has played in all 15 games for the Lions so far this season, although he did not start any of them.
