James Madison pulls away from UNC Wilmington 63-56

WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) — Devon Moore scored 19 points and Rayshawn Goins posted a double-double to help James Madison complete the season sweep of UNC Wilmington, defeating the Seahawks 63-56 Monday in Colonial Athletic Association play.

Goins and Andre Nation each finished with 11 points. Goins added 12 boards for James Madison, which tallied a 42-30 rebounding advantage.

Enoch Hood broke open a 42-42 tie with a jumper, sparking an 11-4 run for the Dukes. Moore capped the spurt with a 3-pointer to give James Madison (12-10, 6-3) the lead for good, 53-46.

The Dukes shot 52.4 percent (11 of 21) and made 12 free throws in the second half after shooting 32.4 percent (11 of 34) and making three shots from the stripe in the opening stanza.

Keith Rendleman led UNC Wilmington (8-12, 3-5) with 20 points and 13 rebounds but the Seahawks made just 21 of 53 shot attempts.
