LEWISTON, N.Y. (AP) — Antoine Mason scored a career-high 30 points and Juan’ya Green added 26, including the game-winning 3-pointer with 1 second left in overtime to lift Niagara over Iona 93-90 Thursday night for the Purple Eagles’ seventh straight win.

Mason scored the other nine of Niagara’s 12 points in overtime.

Green, who had 20 points after halftime, hit his only other 3-pointer with 7 seconds left in regulation to knot it at 81, forcing overtime. That capped a 15-point comeback in 6:53 for the Purple Eagles (14-8, 10-1 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference).

Mason scored the first four points of overtime, then Sean Armand’s five straight pushed the Gaels (14-8, 8-3) ahead. Mason scored twice more, with David Laury, whose 24 points led Iona, tying it with free throws, until Green’s trey.
