Woman hospitalized after accident

Motorcycle skids into guard rail

A woman whose motorcycle wound up sliding on the Washougal River Road was transported Saturday to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver.

The accident occurred at about 3:15 p.m. as the victim and another motorcyclist were near the Northeast 394th block of the Washougal River Road.

According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Department, the woman slid into a guard rail. The woman, whose identity was not available, was conscious and alert, and her injuries were described as not life-threatening.
