NEW YORK (AP) — The YES Network, the Yankees’ cable channel, will televise up to 10 Atlantic Coast Conference football games and as many as 23 ACC men’s basketball games this season.

YES announced the agreement with Fox Sports Media Group to show ACC sports on Thursday.

The deal also includes the rights to some ACC women’s basketball and Olympic sports.

YES has an agreement with the Big East to televise up to 10 basketball games from the reborn basketball-focused conference that includes Georgetown, Villanova and Butler.

The ACC deal with YES Network comes a few weeks after the conference announced a deal with the Pinstripe Bowl in Yankee Stadium that starts in 2014, and is part of a strategy to expand the league’s presence in the New York media market.
