NEW YORK (AP) — The MLS All-Star team will have an international flavor when it faces AS Roma.
Red Bulls forward Thierry Henry of France and Irish striker Robbie Keane of the Galaxy are among 20 players on the roster for the league’s All-Star game on July 31 at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kan.
Italy’s Marco Di Vaio, who plays for the Montreal Impact, also was selected Monday for the match against the Italian club.
Several players with U.S. national team experience also made the roster, including Matt Besler (Sporting KC), Brad Davis (Houston), Omar Gonzalez (Galaxy) and Graham Zusi (Sporting KC).
