PORTLAND — A Portland computer technology specialist is jailed facing charges that he drugged and sexually assaulted four women he met at parties.

The Oregonian reports that 43-year-old Marlin Brandt Pohlman was arrested Wednesday at the Portland airport as he returned from a trip to Thailand.

Detectives suspect he gave women LSD, ecstasy, and laughing gas. They also suspect in at least one case he used an autoinjector — a spring-loaded medical syringe.

Police searched his home Wednesday and seized chemicals for testing.

Pohlman was booked on charges that include kidnapping and rape.
