PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. (AP) — Stephen Vogt hit a two-run home run to right field in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the Tampa Bay Rays a 3-1 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday.

Phillies starter John Lannan allowed two hits and walked one in five shutout innings, and Carlos Ruiz singled in the team’s only run in the second inning.

Shelley Duncan homered in the seventh to tie it, and Rays teammate Evan Longoria continued his strong spring with two hits more hits.

Matt Moore pitched five strong innings for Tampa Bay, striking out seven while allowing three hits and two walks. His only run allowed was unearned, though it came following his errant pickoff throw in the second inning.
