Camas lacrosse wins first game

Papermakers host Union Wednesda at Doc Harris Stadium

The Camas High School lacrosse team celebrated its first career victory Friday, at Doc Harris Stadium.

Austin Garwood and Bryce Tabbut each delivered four goals to help the Papermakers defeat Selah 15-3. Garwood also had two assists and three ground balls. Tabbut added an assist and six ground balls. Chris Awaard netted three goals to go with an assist and a ground ball. Camas goaltender Oliver Stanchfield collected 12 saves, and Hudson Fox stopped two shots.

Camas (1-0) faces Union Wednesday, at Doc Harris Stadium. The game begins at 7:30 p.m.
