Letter: People don’t want light rail

The Columbian
Published: May 7, 2013, 5:00pm

I had to laugh when I read the April 19 Columbian story, “City may still block light-rail petition.”

Apparently city council members think they can do anything they want, even telling the people they have no vote on the matter of light rail.

The city council had better start reasoning with the people who voted them into office, and listen to what they want, and the people don’t want light rail.

If the people in the Stone Age state, Oregon, don’t like it, they can rebuild the I-5 bridge so it will last a while. If the Vancouver City Council members don’t go along with what people want, vote them out of office. Get their hands out of the till along with others.
