Letter Trillions wasted on destruction

The Columbian
Published: May 28, 2013, 5:00pm

If anyone wants to know how a section of bridge can be knocked down and fall into a river, severing a major transportation route, all one has to do is to look to two unprovoked and unnecessary wars to get your answers.

Instead of spending $6 trillion investing in our own infrastructure of roads, bridges and transportation needs, and instead of building schools, training teachers and preparing students for the future, we used that money, which we had to borrow, to destroy two countries and kill countless thousands of innocent men, woman and children.

So look around you and you will see broken bridges, inadequate roads and transportation, schools falling apart, teachers and police being laid off and remember to thank President George W. Bush and his administration.
