1A Trico football: Stevenson 18, White Salmon 9

Stevenson finished its season on a winning note, defeating Columbia at White Salmon.

Brandon Campbell’s 55-yard touchdown pass from Brandon Van Pelt in the third quarter gave the Bulldogs (3-6, 3-5 Trico) a 10-9 lead.

Ty O’Neil’s 1-yard TD run with 43 seconds to play in the fourth quarter capped a 70-yard drive to help seal the victory.

Walker Sachon and Evan Weibe each had 10 tackles for Stevenson.

White Salmon (5-4, 4-4) will open the 1A district playoffs at Tenino, 7 p.m. Friday.
