MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) — Jarod Neal threw three touchdowns on 245 yards passing and added a rushing touchdown as Tennessee-Martin pulled away from Murray State in a 45-17 win on Saturday.

The Skyhawks (6-3, 4-2 Ohio Valley Conference) scored four unanswered touchdowns to break a halftime tie and secure the win.

The Racers (5-4, 3-2) scored first when T-Ray Malone recovered an errant pitch in the end zone and a 26-yard touchdown run from Jaamal Berry gave Murray State a 14-0 first-quarter lead.

But Tennessee-Martin outscored Murray State 17-3 in the second quarter, highlighted by a rushing touchdown from DJ McNeil and a 21-yard touchdown pass from Neal to Jeremy Butler.

Neal scored a 1-yard rushing touchdown to give the Skyhawks the lead in the third quarter, and tossed two fourth-quarter touchdowns to help Tennessee-Martin pull away.

Berry rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown to lead the Racers.
