The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery at a Salmon Creek convenience store that happened early this morning.

A clerk working at 7-Eleven, 12908 N.E. Highway 99, called 911 at 2:19 a.m. after a woman produced a handgun and demanded cash, according to Sgt. Fred Neiman.

The woman, whom Neiman said entered the store alone, took a small amount of cash and then fled on foot.

With the assistance of a police canine, deputies searched the area but did not locate the suspect.

She is described as being in her early 20s with a slender build and having brown hair and blue eyes.
