Evergreen — Dozens of volunteers recently joined a few hundred others who have already helped teach art to elementary school kids for Evergreen Public Schools’ Art Discovery program. Late last month, 60 people learned to work with clay from Covington Middle School teacher Maggie Hunter. Most of them agreed to volunteer and visit classrooms during the school year to pass on what they’ve learned about art. Find out more about the program at http://artdiscovery.info.
