Letter: Keep watch on those who voted nay

The Columbian
Published: October 29, 2013, 5:00pm

Given that both houses of Congress have passed the resolution on Oct. 16 to allow the government to reopen, allow the U.S. to pay its bills, and agreed to further negotiate to solve spending problems, doesn’t it follow that those members of Congress who opposed the vote, in essence, voted to put the U.S. into default and throw the entire U.S. and world economy into chaos?

I would like to see the names of those who voted against the resolution published. Those are the members of Congress who do not understand what is at stake for every American. They appear to not care what happens to the American citizen and the American economy. Everyone needs to know who not to vote for in the next national election.
