ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — Aaron Murray is building quite a resume.

The quarterback of ninth-ranked Georgia already is the first in Southeastern Conference history to throw for more than 3,000 yards in three straight seasons. Now the fifth-year senior is poised to join Danny Wuerffel as the only SEC players to reach 100 touchdown passes.

Wuerffel, the 1996 Heisman Trophy winner, had 114 TD passes running the “Fun ‘n’ Gun” offense at Florida.

Murray is next on the list with 99, but he’ll probably need to work fast if he’s going to reach the century mark Saturday against North Texas (2-1).

The Bulldogs (1-1) opened as a 3612-point favorite over the Mean Green. Assuming the game goes as expected, Murray and the other starters could be done for the day by halftime.
