I can take my grandchild to school and if he is not in a car seat or a seat belt, I get a fine. Yet, he can be put on the school bus with dozens of children without seat belts.
I attended a day Bible camp this summer where we were bused daily, again without seat belts. We expected these precious children to sit still to be safe but without seat belts.
How many more times do we have to read about a bus accident? Is your child/grandchild really safe in a school bus or do you feel like you need to buckle them up and take them yourself? There is something wrong with this picture.
I vote to keep our children safe.
