A Woodland woman was injured Monday afternoon when she lost control of her 1994 Chevrolet Corvette on northbound Interstate 5 near Ridgefield.

Rebecca Dye, 59, “lost control due to water on the roadway during heavy downpour,” the Washington State Patrol reported. The crash happened at 4:01 p.m. near the state truck scalehouse.

Dye was taken to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center where she was listed in good condition Monday night.

Dye was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
