Two women sustained minor injuries Sunday when a pickup truck, which later fled the scene, hit the vehicle they were in, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

At about 2:45 p.m., the women were traveling east on Northeast 134th Street in the Salmon Creek area when the truck pulled out of a business near 1316 N.E. 134th St. and hit the front passenger side of their vehicle, Clark County sheriff’s Sgt. Randon Walker said.

Both women, whose names were not released, sustained minor injuries in the collision. One of them, the vehicle’s passenger, was transported to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center as a precaution.

The truck, described as an early-1990s white Ford pickup, took off after the crash, Walker said. The truck’s “damage is directly in the center of the bumper, and it’s very obvious,” he said.
