Letter: Issues put aside, Obama moves on

The Columbian

Remember President Obama telling the Russians, “wait until after the election when I can do more?” With no more election cycles to consider, the true transformation begins.

Legalize border crashers. Subdue the military. Use new EPA rules to kill the energy boom. Enforce engaging health care rules to finish “one provider.” Use IRS rules to crush opposition; consolidate power unto the government unions. Allow the newly minted to vote. The list goes on.

No longer in a classroom, we’re now in the lab.

“Never let a crisis go to waste” by ginning up Ferguson enough to sop up all the big ink. And the media; so compliant and predictable … what a gift. New York Times columnist Paul Krugman supplies cover for the Treasury’s printing presses, ignoring the rampaging elephant of debt breaking everything valuable in the room.

It’s hard to believe both houses would timidly (Republicans) and obediently (Democrats) stand by and let the great usurper have his way.

“Leading from behind” has become the “1984” for the emasculating of America.
