Boys basketball: Squalicum 61, Prairie 58 (3 OT)

Both teams had chances to win in the triple-overtime game at the SunDome Shootout in Yakima, but Squalicum made its free throws in the third OT to seal the win.

Prairie had a shot pop out that would have won the game in the first overtime, and Squalicum had its last shot of the second OT go in and out.

Six of Squalicum’s 10 points in the third overtime came from the free-throw line.

Dwayne Stewart had 15 points, and Michael Stockbridge and Greg Bernash each scored 10 points for Prairie. Palmer Goecke had 13 rebounds.

Prairie faces Chiawana at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
