New year, new reader photo challenge in black and white

The Columbian
Published: December 31, 2014, 4:00pm

Even with the advent of color film (long before memory cards, Instagram or iPhones), black-and-white photography has stayed popular among photographers and photography fans. So the first reader photo challenge for 2015 is to show us The World in Black and White.

The Columbian would love to see and share our readers’ favorite black and white images — landscapes, pets, abstract images, street photography, even old family photos. Visit www.columbian.com/newstip to send us your photos. We’ll display the photos in an online gallery and publish a few of our favorites in the Neighbors section on Wednesdays.
