PORTLAND — Columbia Sportswear Co. has purchased an industrial building near its existing Washington County headquarters on Northwest Science Park Drive.
The company paid $3.75 million, or approximately $75 per square foot, for the building at 14100 N.W. Science Park Drive. The transaction was first reported in CoStar, a commercial real estate information service. The building was constructed in 1974 on nearly 5 acres.
“This was part of our ongoing efforts to opportunistically secure additional space in proximity to our existing HQ to support future growth,” Ron Parham, Columbia’s investor relations director, said in an email Friday. He said the company had not yet identified plans for how to use the space.
