PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The U.S. Marshals Service says an escapee from the federal prison camp at Sheridan, Ore., was arrested Wednesday in Tijuana with the help of Mexican authorities.

The service says 24-year-old Sergio Villalpando appeared in federal court Thursday in San Diego and will be returned to Oregon.

He faces a charge for escaping in November from the prison camp where he was serving a five-year sentence for conspiracy to import methamphetamine.
