Letter: Give us a sign

The Columbian
Published: January 1, 2014, 4:00pm

I read the story “Going by train” about Amtrak in the Dec. 30 Columbian. A few weeks ago, I went to the train station to pick someone up. I immediately was confused, as I could not see an entrance. There were several doors, but nothing to tell me which was the entrance to the station. The reason being: there is none.

I asked an attendant, once I found my way in, why there was not a sign. I was told that they had been trying for “years” to get an entrance sign.

Seriously, can’t either Amtrak or the city of Vancouver come up with enough funds to put up an entrance sign at the station?
