Boys basketball: La Center 63, Toledo 43

La Center, after suffering a bit of a slip up on Tuesday returned to the court on Friday with a renewed purpose on the defensive end. Behind a concerted effort on the defensive end and consistent scoring through four quarters, La Center got a solid 20-point win over Toledo.

La Center was able to use solid ball movement and dribble penetration to create good looks including nine three-pointers. Brody Seter led the attack on Friday, scoring 19 points.

Toledo erupted for 21 points in the final period but La Center was too consistent to allow Toledo to come back.

Matt Braaten led La Center with 11 rebounds to go with five points while Will Rice grabbed nine boards, coming close to a double-double.
