The Eagles took the frustration from their double-overtime loss to Prairie on Tuesday and used that energy to charge past the Trappers.

Tyler Barton had an outstanding all-around game with 14 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, six steals and three blocked shots for Bay.

“And our defensive pressure on (Fort’s) Tre Eisenhut was key,” Hudson’s Bay coach Robert Key said. “That was (Cody) McPoland and Ayrrius Pressley as well. I thought if we could keep him under 10 points, our chance of winning was huge. And he finished with 11.”

DeWayne Whitley led the Bay offense with 22 points as the Eagles moved the ball around.

“We rebounded the ball well,” Key said. “And we had 15 assists. I think that’s the most I’ve seen us get in my two years here.”
