PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Johnny Dee scored 21 points, including two late free throws, as San Diego held off Portland for a 65-63 victory on Saturday.

Dee was fouled and made both free throw attempts with 7 seconds remaining to give San Diego (12-10, 3-6 West Coast Conference) a 65-61 lead.

Alec Wintering missed the front end of a 1-and-1 with 10 seconds left and Portland (12-9, 4-5) trailing 63-61. It appeared Wintering might have had a chance to give Portland the lead with a three-point play opportunity after being fouled driving for a layup, but the foul occurred before his basket.

San Diego shot 50 percent from the field and made 8 of 12 3-pointers. Dee was 7 of 10 from the field and made all four of his 3-point attempts. Dennis Kramer added 15 points.

Kevin Bailey scored 21 points to lead Portland Riley Barker added 10.
