CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Team Penske has plans for 20-year-old Ryan Blaney.

Blaney will compete in 15 Nationwide Series races this season and run at least two races on the Sprint Cup Series driving the No. 12 SKF Ford Fusion. His Sprint Cup debut will come at Kansas Speedway in May.

Blaney’s first Nationwide Series start will be at Bristol on March 22. The remainder of his schedule will be announced later.

The third-generation driver will also continue to race full-time in the Camping World Truck Series for Brad Keselowski Racing.

Blaney has raced in select Nationwide Series events since joining Team Penske in 2012. He won his first Nationwide race last September at Kentucky.
