BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) — Stefan Cvrkalj sank a pair of free throws in the final 24 seconds — on top of a pair of 3-pointers down the stretch — helping Lehigh fend off Bucknell 66-63 Wednesday night.

The Mountain Hawks (11-11, 4-5 Patriot League) made 9 of 16 shots from long range, with Cvrkalj hitting four and finishing with 14 points. Lehigh’s 3s came at pivotal times in winning their third straight.

Bucknell (9-11, 4-5) led by seven at halftime, but Lehigh caught up at 35-35 on a Corey Schaefer (15 points) 3-pointer. Cvrkalj hit a 3-pointer to snap a 51-51 tie and another to regain the lead, 57-55. Cvrkalj and Jesse Chuku hit extended the lead to 63-55 with 3-pointers.

Cvrkalj’s free throws were the difference as Bucknell’s Cameron Ayers (23 points) nailed a 3-pointer with 7 seconds left. Nine of Lehigh’s last 10 games were decided in the final minute.
