Letter: Delay is against public’s vote

The Columbian

Being proud of the state of Washington is easy. This populist blue-collar state is among the most conscientious and progressive in the nation. It has a long history showing its commitment to democracy.

After the public voted in favor of recreational marijuana use, the state made a commitment to honoring the people’s voice. So it is time to end the foot dragging and the subterfuge by opponents of marijuana use and get the show on the road.
