PROMOTION

Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Jeremy Craig of Vancouver was recently promoted to his current rank while aboard the USS Bataan. He is serving with Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit as a light armored vehicle commander.

BASIC TRAINING

Army Pvt. Travis W. Beaudoin, a 2013 graduate of Columbia River High School, has completed basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He is the son of Andre Beaudoin of Vancouver and Cynthia Schricker of Texas.

Washington National Guard PV2 Blake Romig and his twin brother, Pfc. Jordan Romig, recently completed basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C., and are at Fort Benning, Ga., for AIT training. The brothers moved from Vancouver to Marysville with their family while young, and graduated from high school there. They are the sons of Debby and Greg Romig of Marysville. Relatives, including grandparents Dennis Dunne and Kay Romig, and sister, Krystle Parr, live in Vancouver.
