Fort Vancouver District advances eight to rank of Eagle Scout

Eight Boy Scouts from Fort Vancouver District were advanced to the rank of Eagle Scout in August. They include:

Charles Gozart of Boy Scout Crew 361 made site markers and stairs at Bratton Canyon Park in Woodland for his Eagle project. Charles, 18, is a son of Karen and Casey Gozart. He is a graduate of Battle Ground High School.

Holden Fielding of Boy Scout Venture Crew 336 renovated bleachers at Columbia River High School baseball field for his project. Holden, an 18-year-old senior at Columbia River High School, is a son of Kelly and Gayle Fielding.

A sophomore at Skyview High School, Kent Park of Boy Scout Troop 14, is a son of Scott and Shelbe Park. He built a community garden and shed for Salmon Creek United Methodist Church for his Eagle project.

Jacob Prince is a senior at Skyview High School and a member of Boy Scout Crew 904. He made picnic tables and refurbished horseshoe pits at Bratton Canyon Park in Woodland for his project. Jacob is 18 and a son of Ken Prince and Susan Palmer.

Erik Saylor, a senior at Prairie High School and a member of Boy Scout Troop 367, made shelving for Northwest Children’s Outreach for his Eagle project. Erik, 17, is a son of David and Dawna Saylor.

A senior at Seton College Preparatory, Justin Wallers of Boy Scout Troop 479, built a water trough for horses at Whipple Creek Park for his project. Justin is a son of Paula Wallers-Stocker and James Wallers. He is 17.

Noah Weston of Boy Scout Crew 367 assisted with the Children’s Healing Art Project program at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland for his Eagle project. Noah, 17, is a son of Ryan and Lorraine Weston and a senior at Skyview High School.

A senior at Battle Ground High School, Ryan Williamson of Boy Scout Troop 344, collected 3,100 items for military members overseas. Ryan, 17, is a son of Julie and Larry Williamson.
