Democrats support laws that make them feel good about themselves regardless of consequences. Republicans love facts and support practical laws that have good results.
Minimum wage laws, hyped by Democrats, throw millions of people out of work because employers cannot pay more than what some employees are worth. Those whose labor is worth less than what minimum wage laws mandate are sentenced to a lifetime of unemployment. That’s not compassion, it’s cruelty, but supporting minimum wage laws makes liberals feel good and that’s their real purpose.
It is a well-known fact that gun control laws make it much safer for criminals to commit crimes. Anti-gun laws increase rather than reduce crime. Republicans reduce crime by opposing gun control laws. Liberal Democrats support gun control laws because it makes them feel “responsible” and feel good about themselves — even while knowing they increase violent crime.
