KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — Authorities say a 27-year-old suspect in the robbery of a Klamath Falls business died after an exchange of gunfire with officers.

District Attorney Rob Patridge says two other persons were arrested on robbery charges after the shooting on Sunday night.

Patridge says officers pursued Lenny Miles after he fled the Frontier Market with cash. Patridge provided no details about the gunfire. No officers were injured.

The two people accused of robbery had arraignment hearings Monday: 27-year-old Garrett Michael Petersen and 26-year-old Samantha Darlene Robertson.

Miles was wanted on previous charges of assault, escape and meth possession.

The Jackson County sheriff’s office is handling the shooting investigation.
